The principle
Simple, robust, no framework
Unlike other cover systems, Silage Safe needs no frames on top of the silage that have to be moved with the tractor.
The system consists only of woven plastic sheets two metres wide, perforated PVC pipes, steel pipes and tension straps. Because the sheet has several hems, the height of the silage can be varied – which makes ensiling in layers easy.
Silage Safe is sold in more than eleven countries – over one million square metres of sheeting have already been supplied.
